Comparison on Spiritual Cultivation Thoughts between Confucian and Taoism of Pre-Qin Era

Abstract

The spiritual cultivation thoughts of the Confucian and Taoism of pre-Qin era are different in the relation between spirit and body,the relation between the group spirit and the individual spirit,the relation between consciousness and sub-consciousness,the relation between spirit action and significance of humanity value.The Confucian thinks that spirit and body influent each other,they emphasize the individual spirit,significance of humanity value of spirit action and the important role of the consciousness.Taoism considers that spirit and body influent each other,but Taoism try to eliminate the individual spirit and consciousness,they vanish significance of humanity value of spirit action.
