Acupressure united music therapy to combat nasal endoscopy in patients with syncope when nasal dressing

Objective: To explore music therapy United acupressure on patients's syncope after endoscopic sinus nasal dressing change. Methods:160 cases of postoperative nasal endoscopy were randomly divided into experimental group and control group all 80 cases. Experimental group were treated by the acupressure united music therapy, before removal of nasal packing material, the control group use conventional care when the removal of nasal packing materials. Results: In experimental group, two cases occurred syncope; in control group, 11 cases had happened syncope. Difference between the 2 groups was statistically significant (χ2= 6.782, P=0.0090.01). Conclusion: Patients after endoscopic sinus nasal dressing use the acupressure united music therapy can be effective in preventing the occurrence of syncope when the dressing was changed.
