Evaluate of science and technology innovation efficiency based on malmquist index approach

Abstract

In this paper,we use Malmquist Index Approach to calculate the change trend of ST innovation efficiency in China,and decompose the ST innovation efficiency into two components,which is technical progress and resource allocation efficiency.Results shows that the increase of ST innovation efficiency in China is mainly promoted by technical progress,and the contribution of resource allocation efficiency is relatively small.
