Abstract

Effect of operation conditions on the olefin distribution of FCC gasoline with GOR-Q catalyst for reducing olefin and normal MLC-500 catalyst were studied emphatically in the paper. The results show evidently that the effect of GOR-Q catalyst on decreasing different kinds of olefins in FCC gasoline. Olefins in FCC gasoline consisted mostly of C_5~C_7 in carbon number distribution and of single olefins or normal olefins and mono-branched-chain olefins. The reduction of gasoline olefin content is achieved by decreasing the olefins above mentioned. Lower reaction temperature, lower weighted hourly space velocity and higher catalyst oil ratio give rise to lower single olefins, normal olefins, mono-branched-chain olefins and diolefins, but increasing catalyst oil ratio is firstly considered to decrease the loss of gasoline octane number.
