Expression and Their Clinical Significance of cyclin D1,and p57KIP2in Invasive Duct Carci-noma of the Breast

Objective To study the expression cyclinD1,and p57KIP2in invasive duct carcinoma (IDC) and their clinical significances.Methods In64IDC,15ductal carcinoma in situ(DCIS),and15adjacent nor- mal breast tissues,the expression of cyclinD1,and p57KIP2was detected respectively by immunohistochem- ical SP methods.Results The expression of cyclinD1and p57KIP2between IDC and breast different tis- sues, and axilliaris lymph node metastasis, and expression of cyclinD1and histological grade of IDC had significant difference(P≤0.05,P 0.01). There was negative relationship between expression of cy- clinD1and p57KIP2(P0.01).Conclusion cyclinD1and p57KIP2may play an important role in the mamma- ry tissue carcinogenesis and progression of breast carcinoma. The abnormal expression of cyclinD1was early event of breast carcinoma. The combined detection of cyclinD1and p57KIP2has positive effects on predicting the lymph node metastasis in breast carcinoma.
