Abstract
The hot drawing process for the sheet of AZ31 magnesium alloy was discussed. And the technological parameters including drawing temperature, holder clearance, lubricating method, drawing speed, etc. on formability were researched. It was found that the formability of the AZ31 magnesium alloy sheet with thickness of 1mm was better between 200 ℃ and 275 ℃, and the limiting drawing ratio(LDR) was 2.14. The value of LDR was varied with the drawing technological parameters.
