Abstract
The 7 varieties of sweet sorghum were treated with different concentration of alkali stress(molar ratio of NaHCO3∶Na2CO3=5∶1).The germination rate, germination percentage, germination index,relative-vigor index,average-root length,average-germination percentage and salt toxicity rate were compared between 7 kinds of varieties, and the tolerance of sweet sorghum was assessed with the method of subordinate function values analysis. The results showed that the 7-varieties of sweet sorghum were ordered in sequence from the strong to weak:MN 3739M-81 EBerryRioES 7253222Wray.
