Investigation on Planktonic Algae in Gantang Lake in Jiujiang City of Jiangxi Province and Analysis of on Water Quality Pollution

Abstract

Planktonic algae in Gantang lake in urban area of Jiujiang city was investigated.The results showed that there were 80 species,48 genera in planktonic algae.The average biomass of planktonic algae was 367.498×104/L,among which there were 49.12% bacillariophyta,45.71% chlorophyta and 2.05% cryptophyta.The water quality was evaluated and analyzed on basis of the physiological and chemical monitoring,and the results showed that Gantang lake was βmiddle pollution.
