Abstract
Improving cultural accomplishment is a requirement that the newly revised 《College English Syllabus》stipulates.Based on College English teaching practice, this paper expounds the methods and principles of cultural introduction. As a result, English teaching is not merely confined to the teaching of linguistic knowledge; it involves developing the students' cultural awareness and cross - cultural communication skills as well.
