Expression of P53,ki67 and Survivin in papillary thyroid carcinoma

Abstract

Objective To investigate the expression of P53,Ki67 and Survivin and to analyze their relationship in papillary thyroid carcinoma.Methods Immunohistochemical method(SP) was used to detect expression of P53,Ki67,Survivin in 35 cases of papillary thyroid carcinoma and 28 cases of thyroid adenoma.Results The positive expression rates of P53,Ki67,Survivin were 85.71%,65.71%,74.2% respectively in papillary thyroid carcinoma,which were significantly higher than those in thyroid adenoma(P0.01).The expressions of P53,ki67 were not related with that of Survivin(P0.05).The expression of P53,Ki67,Survivin were not correlated with patinets'sex,age,nodule number,tumor size in papillary thyroid carcinoma(P0.05).Conclusion The expressions of P53,ki67,Survivin are increased in papillary thyroid carcinoma.However the expression of P53,Ki67 is not correlated with that of Survivin.
