Abstract

Objective To isolate bioactive components from the aerial part of Rabdosia rubescens. Methods The constituents of Rabdosia rubescens were separated by silica gel column chromatography and their structures were confirmed on the basis of NMR,TLC and ESI-MS.Results Fifteen compounds were obtained and elucidated as:α-amyrin(1),daucosterol(2),ursolic acid(3),β-sitosterol(4),enmenol-glucoside(5),lasiodonin(6),glucose(7),2α,3α-dihydroxy-urs-12-en-28-oic acid(8),oridonin(9),pedalitin(10),inositol(11),ponicidin(12),dayecrystals B(13),uracil(14),1,2-benzenedicarboxylic acid bis(2-ethylhexyl) ester(15),respectively.Conclusions Among these compounds,14 is obtained from the Rabdosia genus for the first time.8 and 13 are obtained from this plant for the first time.1,2-Benzenedicarboxylic acid bis(2-ethylhexyl) ester is attributed to experimental materials.
