AFFECT OF THE URINARY CATHETER INDWELLING ON PERI-OPERATIVE PATIENTS BEFORE AND AFTER ANESTHESIA

Objective To explore the advantages and disadvantages of urinary catheter Indwelling on peri-operative patients before and after anesthesia. Methods 100 patients were selected and divided into 2 groups at random.Group A is the one being indwelled before anesthesia.Group B is the one being indwelled after anesthesia.Heart rate and blood pressure were recorded,and satisfaction scores of the patients were taken. Results In group A,the irritation of indwelling urinary catheter,the patient's stress reaction and satisfaction is obviously superior than group B. Conclusion In the mode of integrated nursing,Urinary Catheter Indwelling after anesthesia is harmless to patient,in both physiological and mental way,which incarnates the characteristics of humanized nursing,and is worthy to promote in clinical application.
