Abstract

To study the antioxidant activity of extraction of peanut hull extracts(PHE) in vitro, the antioxidant activity of the PHE was analyzed by using different assays, such as reducing power,anti-lipid peroxidation, inhabit oils peroxidation, superoxide radical scavenging assay, hydroxyl radical scavenging assay,DPPH radical scavenging assay. The results showed that the PHE was proved with total antioxidant activity in evidence, effective reducing power, inhibition of lipid eoxidation and free radical, scavenging activity. The IC50 values of inhibition for DPPH radical, hydroxyl radical, superoxide anion radical were 27.82ug/ml,183μg/ml,89 μg/ml,respectively.The PHE possesses was rather high and multiply antioxidant activity and was a promising natural antioxidant.
