Abstract
Objective:To study the relationship and expression of bcl-2 and p53 protein in gastric carcinoma. Methods:The bcl-2 and p53 proteins in all the cases were detected by immunohistochemical methods. Results:The expression of bcl-2 in gastric carcinoma was higher than that in chronic gastric diseases, but no significantly(P0. 05). The expression of p53 in gastric carcinoma was higher than that in chronic gastric diseases(P0. 05). There was no significant correlation between expressionof bcl-2 and p53(P0.05). Conclusions: Expression of bcl-2 and p53 was in different period of the formation and development of gastric carcinoma.
