Abstract
[Objective] To evaluate the clinic efficacy of cast post and core crown dental in the residual crown and root.[Methods] 99(110) posterior residual crown and root were randomly divided into observation group and control group,and the residual crown and root production pile of the two groups were repaired by nickel-chromium alloy with metal post and core and the root canal and finished pegs check posterior.[Results] After restorative treatment and following up for 3 years,the repair success rates were 94.6% and 77.8% for the observation group and control group,and there was significant difference be-tween the two groups(P ﹤ 0.05).[Conclusion] Cast metal crown restoration method has good effect on posterior residual crown and root.
