Abstract

The new kind of brake system for high speed train has been developed by Loco Car Research Institute, to satisfy the brake technical requirement of 270km/h high speed train in China. Its main characters have straight electropneumatic brake control system, disc foundation brake, with large brake power, and electronic anti - skid device with high performance. When the composite brake, which includes air brake and regenerative brake, is operated for high speed train with 270 km/h speed, the brake distance 3100m is satisfied.
