Abstract

Objective To investigate the early diagnostic value and significance of cardiac troponin I (cTnI) and CK-MB in acute myocardial infarction (AMI).Methods Serum from 50 patients with coronary heart disease (AMI) and 50 healthy were examined for cTnI and CK-MB. Results In the 3h after AMI, the positive rates of cTnI 94.0% were significantly higher than CK-MB.24.0%, in the 5 day after AMI, the positive rates were 84.0% for cTnI and CK-MB were 6.0%.Conclusion The serum level of cTnI can closely reflect of myocardial dagmage in AMI. It provides a early diagnostic window. Serum level of cTnI is a marker high sensitivity and specificity for AMI and can aid in the early diagnosis of AMI.
