A Study of the First Person Narration in the Postmodern Context

Abstract

In the postmodern context,the first person naration is employed by more and more writers,and the meaning of text is getting increasingly dependent on the dynamic interaction between text and reader.Taking the Calvino’s works as an example,this article,by focusing on the narrative techniques in his novel,attempts to analyze the identity of first person as experience creator,uncover the mystery of the first person narration in literary works,disclose the imaginary essence and the expressing desire in the postmodern context.Additionally,the writer of the article explores the effects of first person narration from the aspects of individualistic narration,affectivity reinforcement,and perfection of narrative functions etc.
