Expression of CD44v6,COX-2,MMP-2 in gastric carcinomas and their relationship to lymph node metastasis

Abstract

Objective:To study the expression of CD44v6,COX-2 and MMP-2 in gastric carcinomas and their relationship to lymph node metastasis.Methods:The expressions of CD44v6,COX-2 and MMP-2 in gastric carcinomas were detected by immunohistochemical method,and their relationship with lymph node metastasis was analyzed.Results:The positive rates of the expression of CD44v6,COX-2 and MMP-2 in 60 gastric cancer tissues were 61.7%(37/60),55.0%(33/60)and 73.3%(44/60),respectively.The expressions of CD44v6,COX-2 and MMP-2 were significantly related with lymph node metastasis.Conclusion:The expressions of CD44v6,COX-2 and MMP-2 were significantly related with lymph node metastasis in gastric carcinomas,they can be used as indicators to predict prognosis of gastric carcinomas.
