Abstract
Objective To study the relationship between anthropometry and polysomnography. Methods 130 middle-aged men suspected of OSAHS were examined for their height, weight, neck circumference, chest circumference, waist and buttocks circumference. The correlation between the results and the data of polysomnography was analyzed. Results BMI was the most important factor which affected the apnea hypopnea index(AHI),longest apnea time, lowest oxygen saturation, average oxygen saturation. Conclusion There is a close correlation between OSAHS and BMI,therefore obesity is an important risk factor for OSAHS.
