Summarization on the Subject Development of Linguistics and Applied Linguistics in 2006

This paper tries to reflect the subject development of the linguistics and applied linguistics in 2006 really and objectively on numbers of data statistics.Statistical contents consist of the following three aspects: more than 620 academic papers have already been released on various academic journals,more than 110 works have been published and 76 research items have been sponsored by the National Social Science Fund.During more than 20 to 30 years’ separation and incorporation between Chinese linguistics and applied linguistics,new academic opinions have come forth,especially after entering the new century,research achievements such as Study on Teaching Foreigners in Chinese,Computational Linguistics,Cognitive Linguistics,Functional Linguistics of Sections and Chapters etc.emerged endlessly,which predicts that a new pattern of linguistics will be presented.
