Abstract
The curing reaction process of bismaleimide/cyanate ester resin(BMI/CE) modified by AG-80(glycidyl amine type epoxy resin) and TDE-85(alicyclic glycidyl ester type epoxy resin) was investigated by DSC and FT-IR methods, and the kinetics parameters of curing reaction were calculated by Kissinger equation and Crane theory for the modified resin systems. The results showed that the apparent activation energy was 68.11 kJ/mol and reaction order was 0.860(approx 1 level reaction) for curing reaction of modified resin system. The epoxy resin(EP) could promote the curing reaction of CE,and the modified resin system could be completely cured at150 ℃/3 h→180 ℃/2 h.
