Science and its transmission of the ideasof western modern science education

Aim Through analyzing the contribution of Science in spreading western science education,to provide new clues for study on the origin and development of modern science education in China.Methods Investigation and textual research on original journals as well as literature review.Results From 1st to 15th volume in Science,there are 62 articles about science education and more than 60 illustrations about overseas universities,laboratories and libraries.From these aspects of doctoral and master education,undergraduate education,secondary education,primary education,vocational education and overseas education,science introduced the system of western science education comprehensively.In terms of teacher-training,subject-selecting of students,teaching materials adapting,methods of science teaching,equipment ordering,laboratory building and its use,as well as scientific practice and means using of education technology,science comprehensively spread basic framework of the science education.Conclusion Science and Ren Hongjun,its sponsor advocated clearly to develop science education and put it into practice to save our country,and the system of western science education was first introduced into China systematically,including vocational education,workers′ training and so on,which injected new elements into Chinese traditional education and formed relatively complete view of science education,what′s more,it had a profound influence on the basic framework of Chinese science education system,thereby greatly advance the modern progress of Chinese education.
