Abstract
Objective To study the clinical value of fibreroptic bronchoscopy(FB) in pulmonary atelectasis. Methods The fibreroptic bronchoscopy results and clinical data of 340 patients with pulmonary atelectasis were analyzed retrospectively. Results Among 340 cases, there were 323 cases diagnosed with fibreroptic bronchoscopy(95 %). In 92 cases youth patients, there were 17 lung cancers(18.4 %), 51 inflammations (55.4 %), 23 tuberculosis(25.0 %). In 136 cases middle-age patients, there were 62 lung cancers(45.5 %), 51 inflammations (37.5 %), 17 tuberculosis(12.5 %). In 112 cases old-age patients, there were 78 lung cancers(69.6 %), 23 inflammations (20.5 %), 10 tuberculosis(8.5 %).Conclusions It is considerd that the fibreroptic bronchoscopy was important in the pathological diagnosis for pulmonary atelectasis. Lung cancer、inflammation、tuberculosis wre three of most important causes of the patients with pulmonary atelectasis. The inflammation was the highest incidence in youth patients. The lung cancer was the highest incidence in old age patients.
