Abstract
Objective:Inter-simple sequence repeat(ISSR)molecular markers have the important function in analyzing the genetic relationship,genetic diversity,identifying germplasm resources and genetic mapping.Method:Genome DNA of safflower cultivars were amplified using ISSR primers.Result:382bands were amplified with 20ISSR primers,including 366polymorphic bands.The polymorphic percentage is 95.42%.The range of the genetic similarity coefficient was 0.615 2-0.790 6,indicating a rich genetic diversity of Safflower.UPGMA results showed that 20cultivars were divided into five groups according to the genetic distance,of which Qixian Honghua belongs to the first group.Correlation was not been detected between genetic diversity and geographic distance on other four groups.
