A NEWLY RECORDED GENUS AND TWO NEW SPECIES OF LEDRIDAE FROM CHINA (HOMOPTERA:CICADELLOIDEA)

The present paper deals with two new species of Dusuna Distant, 1907. This genus isfirst recorded from China. The type specimens are kept in the Institute of Zoology, AcademiaSinica and Anhui Agricultural College. 1. Dusuna nigrofasciata sp. nov. (fig. 1) , Length: 8. 0mm; incl. tegm. 8. 5mm; exp. pronot. angl. 4. 8mm. This species can readily distinguished from other species in the genus by having irregular-ly piceous fascia on apical area of tegmina. Holotype , Medog (800 m alt., 29°11′N, 95°09′E), Xizang Aut. Reg., May 24,1983, by Han Yingheng. The holotype of the new species is kept in the Institute of Zoology,Academia Sinica.2. Dusuna bimaculata sp. nov. (fig. 2) , Length: 6. 8mm; incl. tegm. 7. 0 mm; exp. pronot. angl. 4. 3mm. This species can easily be separated from the former new species and other species in thegenus by with two black markings on the posterior margin of vertex. Holotype , Menglun (21°55′N, 101°14′E), Yunnan Prov., Apr. 8. 1974, by WeiChongshen. The holotype of the new species is deposited in the Anhui Agricultural College.
