Abstract
The effects of Cu and Mg content on mechanical properties at room and elevated temperatures,and the microstructure of Al-Cu-Mg-Ag alloy were studied through mechanical test and transmission electron microscopy.The results show that with the increase of Cu and Mg content,the yield strength and tensile strength at both room and elevated temperatures increase,but the elongation decreases.TEM test indicates that increasing the Cu and Mg content can increase the nucleation density and volume fraction of the precipitates and therefore increase the strength of the alloy.
