Abstract
An analytical method for the determination of the Selenium Content in shrimp by hydride generation-atomic fluorescence spectrometry (HG-AFS) was established. The effects of the working conditions of instruments and reagents on Selenium determination were investigated; the effects of digest reagents on digestion of samples and the interference and elimination of coexisting ions were discussed. The detection limit for selenium was 0.078 ng/ml under the optimum working condition, the relative standard deviation was 0.45%, and linear range of 0~50 ng/ml. The selenium content in different shrimps of 0.14~0.33 mg/kg, which were detected by this method, and the recoveries of standard addition were 94.4%~103.8%.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
