Abstract

The advantages of the SF 6 gas insulated switchgear in the city load center are briefly described. From the point of view of the substation design,this paper presents suggestions for the application of the GIS in the substation,such as connecting schemes of substation bus arrangements, features of its disposition, equipment faults and its maintenance, according to the experience of design and operation of substation.
