Transformation of the Teacher's Role as a Knowledge-Man

Abstract

The teacher's role is not just a set of static behavior criterion and mode but a dynamic development and evolution.Through long history,the teacher's role as a knowledge-man has taken great changes from the initiator of knowledge to the creator of curriculum,the action-investigator of education and the prompter,organizer and mentor of students' exploration.Therefore,this transformation is,in essence,a process in which teachers and students gradually break away from an inhuman state and exert their own self-determination and creativity as subject of education.
