Abstract

Abjective :To study the effect of ischemic preconditioning on the NO/ET-1 in the plasma and lung tissue following ischemia reperfusion in the hind limbs of rats. Methods :Wistar rats were randomly divided into three groups:control group, limbs ischemia reperfusion(LIR) group, ischemia preconditioning(IPC)group. At the end of the experiment, The values of NO、ET-1 in the plasma and lung tissue were measured. the ratio of NO/ET-1 was calculated.the results were analysed quantitatively by relative computer analytical system. Results : After the rats' hind limbs suffered ischemia-reperfusion,the ratio of NO/ET-1 in the plasma and lung tissue were decreased significantly in the LIR group, Compared with LIR group, the ratio of NO/ET-1in the plasma and lung tissue were increased significantly in the IPC group. Conclusion :The IPC can attenuate lung injury following IR in the hind limbs of rats, which may correlated with adjusting the ratio of NO/ET-1.
