Abstract
Xiarulin ilmenite deposit locates in east part of Gongdanshan uplift in Yishu fault belt, and west part of Fulaishan-Baifenzi fault belt. Neoarchean titaniforous magnetite amphibolites whic intruded into Neoarchean Taishan group are its major ore-bearing rock. It developed as pod and belt type in Taishan group , or trapped by medium-coarse low gneiss mozonitic granites in Aolaishan formation of Mesozoic Lvliang group. It has the same occurrence with Neoarchean metamorphic strata. 5 orebodies have been circled with the length of 204~1000m and the width of 14~140m. TFe content is 15%~16%, average content is 15.55%, and reach 21.84% maximumly; TiO_2 content is 5%~8%, average is 6.54%, and can reach 10.13% maximumly. The content of TiO_2 has direct correlation with TFe content variation.
