Abstract
Landscape urbanism is a kind of thought and practice born in 1990s. It not only inherits the ideology of ecological planning, but also develops it. The paper takes the succession relationship between landscape urbanism and ecological planning as a hint, analyses the background and theoretical basis of landscape urbanism, and discusses the theoretical research and the development of practice of this field, as well as the guiding significance for our country's urban planning and construction.
