Abstract
Objective:To investigate the expression and the clinical significance of expression of growth-associated protein in myocardium of neonatal rats with hypoxic-ischemic damage. Methods:Twenty one 7-day old Wistar rats were used normal group, and another twenty one 7-day-old Wistar rats with hypoxic-ischemic damage.Immunohistohippocampus was respectively used to detect the expression of GAP-43 protein in all rats hippocampus on day 2,3,7 after hypoxic-ischemic damage. Results:The expression of GAP-43 protein was obviously increased in the rats with hypoxic-ischemic damage as compared with normal rats and from 2d to7d after hypoxic-ischemic damage had significant differences(P0.05).Conclusions:The expression of GAP-43 in myocardium of neonatal rats may change with age.It is related to myocardium injury.
