An Analysis of the Influence of FDI on the Export Trade in China

Abstract

China has achieved great success in taking advantage of foreign direct investment since 1979,and in 2002 China became the country with largest FDI inflow in the world.FDI has played an important role in the economic development of China.Also FDI would significantly affect China's export performance.This paper analyses the long-run and the short-run effects that FDI has to exports.It is found that FDI has a positive impact on(export trade) of China.
