Abstract
Because the historical books written by government or individuals in the Ming Dynasty lost facts, or were distorted, or were given a wrong color severely, historical textual research came with the tide of fashion since the mid- Ming Dynasty. Wang Shi-zhen was the first man to do the textual research, and his representative work-ShiChengKaoWu was the first textual research book on the contemporary historical resources. After that, Jiao Hong, Zhu Guo-zhen, Zhang Sui, Zhu Ming-gao, Tan Qian and Qian Qian-yi made great achievements and some certain defects on the historical textual research.
