The sedative effect of Dexmedetomidine in gynecologic surgery under epidural anesthesia

Abstract

Objective To explore the sedative effect of Dexmedetomidine in gynecologic surgery under epidural anesthesia.Methods All of 103 cases in gynecologic surgery under epidural anesthesia were divided into control group(not given sedative drug) and observation group(given Dexmedetomidine).HR,MAP and Ramsay scores were recorded at before administration(T0),after administration 10 min(T1),30 min(T2),60 min(T3) and operation finished(T4).Results The Ramsay scores of observation group were higher at T1-T4 than at T0(P 0.05),the HR of observation group were lower at T1-T4 than at T0(P 0.05),the difference between the two groups was sihnificant(P 0.05).Conclusion The sedative effect of Dexmedetomidine in gynecologic surgery under epidural anesthesia is good,it is worthy for application.
