Research on the Main Primary Products' Comparative Advantages in Gansu

For the past few years,kinds of industry and products in the area of Gansu Province were formed gradually.Products contain potatoes,cotton,melon,vegetables,cured tobacco and traditional Chinese medicinal materials.For the purpose of making clear the industry's comparative advantages and developing trend,the primary products' features in Gansu Province are analyzed and compared by the use of production concentration indices,efficiency advantage indices and scale advantage indices,so as to provide the strategy and the foundation for the government when it formulates agricultural regional policy and planning.Then some suggestions are proposed for how to achieve the comparative advantage and competitive advantage.
