Abstract
Through analysis and research,a new wetland classification system was established based on the characteristics of wetlands in the mountainous regions of Hebei Province;new wetland types were found and named,types and quantity of wetlands in the mountainous regions of Hebei Province were investigated.Meanwhile the causes of the wetlands in mountainous regions were analyzed,which had certain directive significance to the economic development and wetland eco-environment protection in the mountainous areas.
