Abstract

Objective:To study the changes of serum uric acid(UA),high sensitivity C-reactive protein(CRP) and fibrinogen(FBG) levels in patients with coronary heart disease(CHD) and their relationship. Methods:Levels of serum UA,CRP and FBG in 200 CHD patients(31 stable angina pectoris(SAP) patients,56 unstable angina pectoris(UAP) patients and 113 acute myocardial infarction(AMI) patients) were measured and compared with 70 normal patients(control group) by turbidimetry and end point method respectively. Results:The levels of UA((479.84±99.97)μmol/L),CRP((16.49±4.27)mg/L) and FBG((4.76±0.94)g/L) were significantly higher in CHD group than those in healthy control group(P0.01),and were greatly increased in AMI group compared with other CHD cases. There was a positive correlation between CRP and FBG(r=0.789,P0.01).Conclusion:Serum UA,CRP and FBG are highly correlated with CHD.CRP is positively correlated with FBG.
