Reform Necessity of General Gymnastics Teaching Contents in Shenyang Sport University

This paper used the methods of literature review,questionnaire investigation,expert interviews and statistics,adopted PE department of 9 institutes and 25 elementary and high schools in Liaoning province as the research subjects,analyzed the phenomenon that the current situation of the general gymnastics teaching of our school can not meet the needs of society.Besides,it makes some suggestions for the reform of current situation of the general gymnastics teaching in the future.It has been found that the main factors that influence the current gymnastics teaching development are the inadequate concept of the structure and system of gymnastics.And current situation of gymnastic teaching is too competitive.And the direction of reform of gymnastics of our school is to develop multi-function of the gymnastics,to expend the caliber of cultivation aim,and to build a system of overall evaluation.
