Abstract

The present indemnity system of body injury by public installations in Japan was established in the State Indemnity Act,Clause 2,issued by the government on 27th,Oct.1947.From then on,the Japanese judicial department gradually clarified a complete theoretical system related with the indemnity through a series of legal precedent.As for the drawbacks in public installations,which compose the main factor in the indemnity liability,a detailed and systematic standard of judgment was established accordingly.
