Abstract

With stem tip as explants and MS as basic culture medium, studies were carried out on continuing growth and induction of subculture of Pyrethrum cinerariifolium Trev..The results show that:among the nine different treatments with the combinations of 2,4-D and KT,the better one is 1.0 mg/L vs 0.4 g/L.By doing so,we can get an ideal induction rate 88.0%;when the concentration of sucrose is ranged from 10 to 40 g/L,it will be in the direct proportion with increment of callus, while with the inverse proportion with start time of callus browned.Especially when the concentration of sucrose is 25 g/L,the callus increment can get to 0.127 g/d;at the same time, proper illumination can prolong the preserving time and maintain an upper tissue structure. If it being illuminated by 4 h/d,the beginning time of being browned of callus will exceed 27 days.
