Abstract
Objective: To observe the long-term effect of comprehensive therapy on chronic renal failure (CRF). Methods: 80 patients with chronic renal failure patients were divided into two growps, conventional Western medicine as control group (n=40),Western medicine plus Chinese medicine as the treatment group (n=40). The serum creatinine (Scr), blood urea nitrogen (BUN), serum albumin (ALB) and 24 h urine changes and effects for the two groups were observed. Results: After treatment, the level of Scr was (418.1±9.3) mol/L, BUN (21.9±8.9) mol/L, ALB (26.5±5.3) g/L and 24 h urine(12.4±0.34) L were higher than before treatment(590.5±126.4) mol/L, (30.6±7.4) mol/L, (27.3±16.2) g/L and (0.79±0.42)(t=2.563, P0.05; t= 2.585, P0.05; t=1.892, P0.05; t=2.981, P0.05); symptoms and signs integral (8.46±0.46)points in treatment group after treatment lower than before treatment(10.23±0.45) points, the total efficiency of the treatment group(87.5%) was significantly higher than control group (67.5%). Conclusion: Comprehensive treatment method of CRF has certain effect, and can im- prove the life quality of patients with an effective way.
