The Effects of Duhuo Jisheng Decoction in Treatment of Degenerative Lumbar Spinal Stenosis

Abstract

Objective To observe the effects of Duhuo Jisheng decoction in treating degenerative lumbar spinal stenosis.Methods A total of 96 patients were randomly divided into two groups.The treatment group(50cases)was treated by Duhuo Jisheng decoction,and the control group(46 cases)was treated by diclofenac tablet.The effects were observed after four weeks.Results In the treatment group,16 cases were cured,29 cases were improved and 5 cases were ineffective.The total effective rates was 90.0%.In the control group,11 cases were cured,25 cases were improved and 10 cases were ineffective.The total effective rates was 78.3%.There were significant difference between the two groups in total effective rates and curative effect rates(P0.05).Conclusion Duhuo Jisheng decoction is effective in treatment of degenerative lumbar spinal stenosis.
