Exploration on Long Term Care System for the Disabled Community Elderly

Abstract

Population aging has made elderly care a social issue under the spotlight.The care for the disabled elderly is in particular urgent.This article reveals the status quo of care for the disabled elderly in Liaoning Province,elaborates on the necessity and feasibility of introducing professional social work into the elderly care system,and provides strategies for establishing long term care system for the disabled community elderly.
