The Study on the Planning and Design of Urban Road Cross-section

Abstract

Based on introducing the design methods of urban road cross section of western development country represented by USA and Japan, the presented paper deeply analyzes the existing issues about planning and design method of urban road cross section, integrating the actual condition of road and traffic in the large and medium cities. Meanwhile, the viewpoints to tackle these problems are also proposed.
