Several Ponders on the Compilation of Chinese Ancient Literary History

There are some problems existed in the compilation of Chinese literary history: the literary ideas,compiling patterns and the classification of literary styles were affected too much by the western countries but left the reality of Chinese literature;the objective narration was insufficient while the discussion,explanation and evaluation were too much and could not return to the original state of the historical appearance of Chinese literature as far as possible;in arranging the literature in Yuan,Ming,and Qing Dynasty,the novel and drama was appreciated but the poetry,verse,Ci and Fu was made light of,which departed from the basic fact that in Yuan,Ming and Qing Dynasty literature study still took the prose and the article as the main body.
