Abstract

In this paper,the characteristics of OLAP are analyzed,the data warehouse storage mode is established and the multidimensional data analysis functions are implemented.The introduction of dynamic OLAP multidimensional view analysis allows the decision-maker to examine sales data from various dimemions and performs such OLAP basic analysis operation as slicing,cutting, rotation and drilling.The paper introduces the multidimensional data architecture used for OLAP as well as how to use OLAP for the multidimensional data analysis of sales data.
