Abstract
The reform of talent-cultivating mode in local engineering universities of undergraduates should fully consider the general background of higher education and higher engineering education reform,referring to the data of regional economy and social development.Based on the talent demands of regional economy,oriented to cultivating applied talents,emphasis is put on the conception of talent cultivation,the location and mode of training,the reform and innovation in teaching practice.
